When was first traffic light system developed

The first traffic light system developed in 1914 by a policeman,his name Lester Wire.He also used green-red signals.On 5th August  1914,the American Traffic Light Signal Company installed a traffic signal system.Traffic signal system also known as Traffic lamps,Signal lights.  Technically also known as Traffic Control System.  Signalling devices positioned at road intersection,pedestrian crossings and other places to control the flow of traffic.
