Basic electronic terms

What is Voltage?

Voltage is defined as potential difference between two points. Assume a reservoir  that has full of water. Then it pushes out water with some force,this force is called as Voltage. VOLT is the unit for voltage
We show voltage with 'V'

What is current?

The flows of electrons is called as Current. Current has direction. it can flows positive direction to negative direction. Ampere is the unit for current.
We show current with 'I'
What is Resistor?
A element which opposes the flow of current. Resistor symbol can be shown by zig-zag lines.

'Ohm' is the unit for Resistance
What is Ohms law?
Ohms laws shows that the relation ship between current,voltage and resistance. i.e.
V=I*R
Where V=Voltage     I=Current         R=Resistance
According to ohms law voltage is mutliplication of current and resistance. i.e
V=IR
Current
I=V/R
Current is directly proportional to Voltage and inversely proportional to resistance .
Resistance R
R=I/V
