Q.  What is a Transducer?
A.  Transducer is an electronic device.Which is used to convert energy from one form to another form.Common examples are microphone,antenna,sensors,loud-speakers and thermometer,etc.. A simple example is sensor.
                   With a Transducer we can convert physical parameters into electrical signals. Assume a microphone. We can convert our voice as a electrical signal by using this device.

           We simply say that any device which is used convert energy is called as Transducer.These devices are widely used in measuring instruments.
