What is Linux?

The Linux is an open source computer operating system initially developed for Intel x-86 based personal computers.It's been subsequently supported for other hardware platforms. Linux is a freely distributed,cross platform operating system based on Unix that could be installed in Laptops,notebooks,personal computers,mobile devices,tablets,video game consoles,servers,super computers,etc.

From smart phones to super computers,in auto mobiles,home appliances,servers,and everywhere we can find Linux,and these are the gadgets powered by this powerful  operating system. Even though most of the personal computers are powered by Windows operating system( Windows XP,Vista,7,8,or 10), still in security systems,servers,general computers are running by this open source OS. Linux consumes less power,and it takes a while to load. It is said that it doesn't need an antivirus software to protect from viruses,and malware. It has many distributions ( distributions often called as distros),like Ubuntu,Fedora,Kali Linux,Open SUSE,Fedora( Red Hat) and many more. We can install this operating system on our virtual machine( Such as VMware ). It doesn't want much RAM and Hard Disk space to install ( i.e. 1GB RAM 20 GB HDD space).

Kali Linux is one of the distributions of Linux. It has much powerful tools for hacking,such as Footprinting tools,penetrating tools,information gathering tools,social engineering tools and many more.  I believe that a hacker must have knowledge about Linux in order to attack on a website or server or any data base.Linux has GUI ( Graphical User Interface) but,most of the people prefer command line interface,because command line interface is too powerful than GUI. A network administrator must know Linux, we make cluster computers with the help of Linux.

An ex-IIT professor working for tribals

A bachelor degree in engineering from IIT Delhi, a Masters degree and a PhD from Houston university,Texas these are his qualifications. However he has left to serve the poor tribals,he is an ex-IIT professor. He is Alok Sagar. He has been living for 32 years in remote tribal villages in Madya Pradesh and serving the people.

When he was teaching in IIT Delhi he had groomed enormous students. Including our ex-RBI governer Raghuram Rajan. Alok Sagar resigned to help the poor. After resigning from his work he Started  working for tribals in Betul. He has been living in a village it doesn't have electricity and roads,with just a primary school.

Alok Sagar has planted more than 40000 trees in the region.He believe that people can serve better by working at the grassroots level. He told the Hindustan times "in India people are facing many problems,but people are busy prooving their intelligence by showing their degrees rather than helping the poor."

Sagar doesn't believe in boasting about degree and his career. He infact said that he didn't need his degrees to serve the people,but only will power.

It's very difficult to know his credentials. He helped many people but he didn't reveal his identity. When the local government ordered him to leave this place citing security reasons,he revealed his identity,and then people were surprised by his great qualifications.

He has a very luxurious lifestyle to lead but he left all those choices. He is a great human being to serve others.

Hi! I'm here today,I'm gonna talk about TCP/IP configurations.When we think about computers lot of the times we just think about our single computer we are able to add games,documents of Microsoft word,but we also go into internet. We also transfer files to server and remove the files from server.

Computers are able to talk,but they are not able talk as we do they can't communicate verbal,they actually mean to communicate another way with electronic signals. So every computer has its own physical address( MAC address : Media Access Control),and it must be an unique address. In order to avoid miscommunication computer manufactures make every MAC address as unique ID. MAC address can be built in Hexadecimal format. It uses a combination of number and alphanumeric such as (0-9,A-F). So we can identify computers by their MAC addresses.

 when they change their mindset,they could lead us better than before. India has been facing problems with corrupted politicians( I'm not talking about good politicians),and we don't have young politicians in scenario. If educated and good people enter into politics,our society can change like anything. And as we know India is not a poor country,because people are keeping their money in Swiss bank,so they are not paying taxes,instead making our currency weak at foreign exchange.
